LNG Bunker Vessel — Bow Loading Manifolds Installation

Forward LNG bunkering upgrade designed to extend a 7,500 m³ LNG Bunker vessel's operational reach and serve a wider range of LNG-fuelled vessels.


Increases vessel compatibility by enabling safe and efficient LNG transfer where existing midship manifolds may limit bunkering flexibility. The project responds to the growing demand for flexible LNG bunkering infrastructure in major maritime hubs and supports the wider adoption of LNG as a transition fuel for shipping.

Scope of Work

Coordinated and supervised multiple critical mechanical and marine systems refurbishment activities, including:

  • Bow manifold arrangement
  • Hose-handling solution
  • Pipe routing studies
  • Structural integration
  • ESD, gas detection and fire protection alignment

Our Approach

HYDRUS delivered concept engineering and engineering study implementation for a practical, class-conscious retrofit — covering bow manifold arrangement, hose-handling, pipe routing, structural integration and alignment with key safety systems (ESD, gas detection and fire protection).
