HS HERCULES — Stability Re-creation & Submarine Rescue System Integration
Specialised naval engineering studies and retrofit support enhancing vessel survivability, operational readiness, and mission capabilities.
Scope included the complete re-creation of the vessel's Trim & Stability Booklet for both onboard and offshore emergency response scenarios, plus the technical specifications and engineering studies required for the integration of a Submarine Rescue System (S.R.S.). The project addressed enhanced operational resilience under both standard and damaged vessel conditions.
Scope of Work
Coordinated and supervised multiple critical mechanical and marine systems refurbishment activities, including:
- Trim & Stability Booklet — full re-creation
- Lines Plan & Hull Geometry re-build
- Hydrostatic calculations + lightship distribution modelling
- Intact stability evaluations
- Submarine Rescue System (S.R.S.) integration studies
- Structural reinforcement studies + FEA
- Piping system specifications
- Automation, lighting and power integration support
Our Approach
HYDRUS delivered the updated Trim & Stability Booklet and the complete engineering package for S.R.S. integration — covering structural reinforcement, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), piping specifications, stability verification, and supporting automation, lighting and power integration.
